Nicolas's dedication

We we so pleased to have the opportunity to dedicate Nicolas today at our church. Pastor Chuck spoke of our responsibilities as parents to raise our children in a home where they not only learn about the Lord, but see Him in the way we live our lives. He encouraged us to raise each of our children uniquely and learn what makes each of them tick. It is our responsibilty as parents to be Godly examples and teach our boys to love others and love God with all their hearts. I pray that the Lord give Jeff and I the wisdom and grace to raise our boys to be strong men of God who are a light to all those around them!

Matt is 5 and Nicolas is 3 weeks old.

We celebrated Matt's 5th birthday and Nicolas's 3 week birthday on January 3rd. Two of our three sweet boys got their well checks at the doctor and they both are....in the doctor's words..."perfect." Nicolas is a whopping 9 lbs. now and Matt is weighing in at 39 lbs. They both are growing and wonderful. We spend the day at Chuck E. Cheeses on New Years day to celebrate Matt's birthday and then we went out to eat on his actual birthday. He really enjoyed his cupcakes mommy made and his favorite presents were his new games for his Mobigo and his Transformers from his Papa and Grammy. The boys are adjusting fairly well to their new brother, but there are certainly some growing pains. Matt is a bit more sensative these days and Drew is a bit more defiant. Definitely more tears lately, but lots more hugs and kisses too. Part of it could be that they had two weeks off at Christmas and now we are getting back to a regular schedule, so that has been an adjustment too. We will keep you updated as our boys continue to grow and be the light of our lives.

Welcome Nicolas Edward Scroggins

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our third son Nicolas Edward Scroggins. He was born on Decmember 13th at 11:15 am. He weighed 7 lb. 14.6 oz. and was 19 inches long. He came out kicking and screaming which was truly the most wonderful sound to his mommy and daddy! His big brothers are absolutely taken with him and love to kiss and hug him all the time. A Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Since we missed going to the Celina Pumpkin Patch with Matt and Drew’s school on Friday (because Drew was having some breathing issues) we decided to go on Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa. The place was packed (as you would expect), but that didn’t bother the boys at all. They had a blast looking at pumpkins, jumping in the jump house, sliding down the slides, and riding the hay ride. We have gone every year to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch since the Matt was only 10 months old. It was fun but tiring. Next year we will have 3 boys to take, and this was the last year Matt will be able to go in the “little kid” jump house. Only about 8 more weeks until baby boy #3 joins us. We can’t wait! The boys however are more excited about Halloween! They love their costumes. Drew is Boba Fett from Star Wars and Matt is a storm trooper from Star Wars. Once I let them try on their costumes, they didn’t want to take them off. It is fun to see them at this age where they are super excited to dress up! I guess I better my Christmas shopping done ASAP. I might be a little busy once December arrives. Pray I get it all done. I pray you are all doing well. Love from Frisco, Tx.

New baby boy due December 22nd

Well summer is pretty much over, and we are all doing well. The boys are about to start preschool in September. This will be a new school for Matt and his last year before Kindergarten. For Drew this will be his first time in school. Matt will be going Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, while Drew will going only on Tuesday and Thursday. I'm excited for them. As for me, I am now 21 weeks pregnant with our third boy. We are super excited, but can't decide on a name for this sweet guy. I'm feeling him move a lot now, and Jeff felt him kick for the first time this past Saturday. That was super exciting! I'll post some pictures from this summer when I have access to Jeff's computer. I'll also post some pictures of our next sonogram next week after we go. I also know some of you have wanted some pregger pics, so I'll post them too. I pray you all are doing well. Love from Frisco.
